Heavy Combat is where fighters put on armor (metal or leather) and use specially made weapons to approximate the metal weapons that would have been used in medieval times. Both male and female fighters are welcome. Fighters must be at least 16 years old to participate.

Spectators are welcome — other members of the shire come to watch, socialize, or work on projects. Medieval clothing is not required.

If there is interest, fighter practice will proceed after the business meeting.
